We’ve added another Cadillac to our stable. Victoria is a 1991 Cadillac Seville.

Kinja'd!!!

Hand-written notes on the original window sticker indicate the aftermarket wheels and grill were put on at a Colorado dealer when she was new.

Kinja'd!!!

With 88,000 miles on the digital odometer, she’s showing very few signs of age (other than the complete lack of ergonomics that is).

Kinja'd!!!

“Air bag” was apparently too low-class sounding for this $35,000+ Cadillac. Upgraded Bose / Delco head unit means you don’t get a balance control because, as the owner’s manual says, “...balance control is optimized at the factory.” Period correct cell phone holder and visor-installed microphone are reminders of a time gone by. Driver information center even reads three different greetings to you at appropriate times of the day (GOOD MORNING).

Kinja'd!!!

Factory remote entry lets you lock/unlock the doors, open the trunk, and illuminate the interior. Interior illumination can also be done by simply pressing the driver’s door handle as well.

Kinja'd!!!

The interior is in good shape with butter-soft leather and luxury usually only reserved for people’s couches.

Kinja'd!!!

Seat controls had to be placed in two different areas because there are so many.

Kinja'd!!!

Fiber optic exterior light repeaters are placed above the rear window and at each fender to help you keep tabs on your tail lights, head lights (high beams AND low beams), as well as your turning lamps.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

The last year of the Sevilles were gifted with the 4.9 liter V8. 200 horsepower doesn’t seem like much today but this little Caddy definitely gets up and goes.

Even the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! still works!

Here are a couple more pics for your perusal...

I wouldn’t buy it but I’m glad someone who loves it owns it. You must own cars and coffee in that thing.

While I don’t care for the grill, I have always liked this generation of Sevilles. I think they have a nice clean look to them. Nice buy!

A month or two ago I saw a guy driving a black one of these that was really clean, nice and shined up with fresh whitewalls and overall just looking immaculate, like you could tell he took real pride in it. I was also struck with how small it is compared to your typical modern “midsize” sedan.

We’ll see! Right now the Cimarron is the car I own that gets the most attention at C&C.

This Seville is shorter than my Cimarron!

Thanks! I’ve liked this style too. Relatively skinny c-pillar and near vertical rear window give it a distinctive rear end.

Thanks! It was dirty inside and out and took nearly 16 hours of scrubbing last weekend to get it where it is. The buttons on the seats hold a lot of dirt! Oxiclean and Dawn to the rescue!

They do. My first car was an ‘89 Olds Toronado Troffeo. I’ve always thought of these Sevilles as a four door version of that car (well, technically it’s E-body mate, the Eldorado, but close enough).

That was the only option mine didn’t have. My dad is an audiophile, and he purchased the car new, so he didn’t want the CRT.

The late 80s Seville isn’t my personal taste, but you gotta appreciate its unique style, and the amazing condition it is in! It makes me happy to see that there are enthusiasts for cars like this out there!

It’s a step up from a Cimmaron. That puts you at step 0.

My parents had a ‘90 Deville when I started driving. I beat that poor thing half to death... It was such a nice car, too. That 4.9 had so much torque!
